Design Basics: Introduction

To Design means to plan and organize.  It is in everything, from video games to movies, painting to advertising and even the way cities and roads are built.  Every thing you see is a design and that design had a process.

  An example is Visual Organization, which is essentially arranging a design to communicate a certain idea.

Here the artist is trying to illustrate an environmental crises and give the idea of loss as trees are destroyed.
