Line

Line is the path of a dot through space.  It is used to create shape, illustrate an idea, imply a connection, or direct the eye to a specific point.

Implied Lines are a series of points positioned to that the eye tends to automatically connect to them.

An example of Psychic Lines is having 2 people look at each other.

There are 2 more types of lines called Contour and Gesture lines.

Contour is more of the outside edge of a form.  Where as Gesture lines move freely and show movement or motion.
